Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Message Cleaner for X (DM Conversation Cleaner for X), provided by Serkan Özcan, processes information when you connect an X account and use the app.
Information we process
- X account access: information needed to connect your X account, retrieve messages and conversations, and delete the messages or conversations you select.
- Conversations and messages: conversation details, participant profiles, message content, identifiers, and timestamps needed to display available messages, apply filters, and delete selected items.
- Account details: your X account ID, screen name, profile information, app coin balance, language, and notification token when available.
- Deletion activity: selected message or conversation IDs, request identifiers, confirmed and remaining results, counts, timestamps, errors, and coin history. Version 11.0 operational logs do not include message content or session credentials.
- Usage and diagnostics: app interactions and basic device information collected through Firebase Analytics to improve reliability.
- Purchases: Apple processes payment details. We receive product and transaction information needed to grant coins and avoid crediting the same transaction twice.
- Support: the information you choose to send through Message Us, together with your app version and language, to help answer your request.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate your account, display and filter available conversations and messages, perform deletions you request, maintain coin balances and history, process support requests, provide notifications where enabled, prevent abuse, and improve the app.
Service providers
We use X for account access and messaging, Google Firebase for authentication, cloud functions, data storage, notifications, and Firebase Analytics, and Apple for App Store purchases. These providers process information under their own policies.
Storage and security
Account connection information and operational records may be stored in Firebase. The app also keeps account information and unfinished selections on your device. We use encrypted connections in transit and access controls for service data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Delete your data
To request deletion of app-held account records, connection information, notification tokens, and deletion logs, open Settings → Message Us in the app or contact @tweet_cleaner on X. We verify the account before handling a request. Some records may need to be retained for transaction or legal obligations. You can invalidate the connected X session separately in your X account settings.
Deleting messages through the app removes only your copy. Other participants may keep theirs. A request to delete app-held data does not delete your X account.
Children
Message Cleaner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
